Here is a boxing exercise that my boxing coach made me do everyday, which helps increase your punching power, sharpen up your footwork, and helps to land more punches. A lot of times, after stepping in and throwing the jab, the rear leg drags behind. This drill forces you to step on every straight punch, so that you're picking up your feet every time you throw the jab and the cross.
